COURSES TAUGHT

During fall quarter 2023, Grokhovsky taught the undergraduate course, “ART113: Space, Body, Material, Time: Interdisciplinary Practice,” and the graduate crit seminar ART290D. She gave a public talk on Oct. 12 at the Manetti Shrem Museum and on Oct. 22 as an invited speaker at the UC Davis Global Migration Center’s Tuesday lunch series.

Grokhovsky concluded her residency with two public events. On Dec. 2, Grokhovsky organized the processional performance, "Between Earth and Sky." The procession began at the Art Building, moved to the Manetti Shrem Museum plaza and concluded with the formation of a return procession. The performance explored the relationship of memory to the body, place and materials. The second public event was the pop up exhibition, "Snowball for Sale," which included work by her undergraduate ART113 class. "Snowball for Sale" was held at the Basement Gallery from Dec. 7 to 9.
