Anne Ellegood

Anne Ellegood is the Executive Director of the Institute of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (ICA LA). She was the Senior Curator at the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles from 2009 to 2019. Prior to joining the Hammer, she was Curator of Contemporary Art at the Hirshhorn Museum & Sculpture Garden in Washington D.C. From 1998 to 2003, she was the Associate Curator at the New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York. At the Hammer, she co-curated, with Erin Christovale, Made in LA 2018, a biennal of LA-based artists. Ellegood gave a public lecture in the Department of Art and Art History Visiting Artist Lecture Series in January 2015.
