BIOGRAPHY
Andre Keichian is an interdisciplinary artist and educator working across photography, video and sculptural installation. His work houses conversations around exile, trans identities, and diaspora and questions how these connections might speak to geopolitical and subjective understandings of migration.
His work has been shown at the Metropolitan Center (Ecuador), The Craft Contemporary Museum (Los Angeles), and Zuckerman Museum of Art (Georgia), amongst others. Keichian has completed various residencies, including The Echo Park Film Center, at land’s edge, The Camera Obscura and WonderRoot. Keichian is the spring quarter visiting professor in The California Studio: Manetti Shrem Artist Residencies.
COURSES TAUGHT
During spring quarter 2026, Andre Keichian will teach ART110A: Intermediate Photography, an advanced undergraduate photography course, and the graduate seminar ART223: Concepts and Critique.
PUBLIC LECTURE
Keichian will give a public lecture during spring quarter.
